Low Level

This diagram illustrates how the 256-byte pages in memory link to each other. The right pointer in the top 256-byte page (at the upper right of diagram) contains 4 bytes: 4.3.1.50, and points indirectly to the crosshatched list node in the bottom 256-byte page (at the lower right of diagram).

 

Similarly, the right pointer in the bottom 256-byte page contains 4 bytes: 2.4.5.30, and points indirectly to the crosshatched list node in the top 256-byte page.
