Treenimation developers use the Treescript scripting language to create games. Treescript can also be used for creating other types of software, such as game lobbies (a collection of tables occupied by gamers and people waiting for tables to fill up, enabling games to start). Other possible uses for Treescript include avatar editors, navigation systems, building editors, interior decoration systems, player forums, chat rooms, and extra-game user interfaces. An extra-game user interface is what the player sees when not playing a game. The first version of Treenimation will be 2D, so the default extra-game user interface will show an overhead view of the player's environment, and/or a front/rear/side view. Ultimately, Treenimation will be 3D, just like Second Life.
