Pygapp is Hiring

Pygapp is a Python-based tool for developing multi-user apps for Google App Engine. These apps (typically multi-player games) run in a web browser. The low-level code is written in JavaScript/HTML5, and the script-level code (as well as the tool itself) is written in Python.

I need the services of a Ryerson Computer Science student to help develop Pygapp, and also to help me pitch my Pygapp idea to the Ryerson Digital Media Zone. I am 51 years old and the DMZ web site states that the applicant should be under 30.

This position is either full-time or part-time, however much time you can spare for this project. The remuneration is below market rate, but when the project is mature and has paying customers, the remuneration rises to market rate. You will also receive equity in the company, which may be less than 50 percent in case I have to hire additional partners.

Ideally, you should be skilled in Python and JavaScript programming, and have some experience developing games. You must have good communication skills, as you will be helping me pitch my Pygapp idea to DMZ. If you feel you have what it takes to develop a cutting-edge game development framework, I want to hear from you. Please send me your resume and a cover letter. I thank all applicants for this position, but only those applicants to be interviewed will be contacted.
